Our manufacturing process begins with the precision creation of substrates using MicroLithography, ensuring unparalleled accuracy for the final product. This specialized process is fundamental to achieving the intricate and highly accurate design structures of Electroformed parts.
Electroformed Precision Parts in Nickel are made by Electro-deposition of Nickel atom by atom on a Substrate with Micro designs. This additive manufacturing process allows for the creation of extremely Precise and Intricate Nickel Screen or other Structures, even down to Micron-sized holes. It provides unmatched accuracy, smooth, burr-free surfaces, and sharp edges.
Techniques like using Moving/Rotating Cathodes, and optimized Process Parameters (Current Density, pH, Temperature, Metal Concentration) are being employed to achieve significantly more uniform Nickel Deposition, crucial for consistent screen or parts performance.
Electroforming offers shorter Lead times, with Substrates (Mandrels) created quickly using Inhouse Litho-Technology, making it cost-effective for both small and high-volume production.
